Mai Alfalasi
Lawyer & Founding Partner
Mai holds a bachelor degree in law and economic, and is a candidate for master in public law. She practices law as a licensed lawyer, appearing before all courts in the United Arab Emirates. She represents clients in all civil and criminal cases, in particularly in civil liabilities, torts and financial fraud. Her legal skills were developed through training at her father’s law firm, Mr. Abdulrahman Naseeb Alfalasi, which helped her to grow advocacy profession and skills in defending clients from her early age. Mai started her career as a legal counsel in Commercial Bank International, then moved to work as a lawyer in the law office of Khalifa Bin Howaidan, to end up forming MAAF Legal.
Mai is an experienced advocate, she diligently and professionally litigates all types of criminal, commercial and sharia’a cases. She works closely with clients, search their respective cases, help them in identifying and presenting supporting evidence, and defend their respective rights and affairs before courts and judicial authorities,
acting in full adherence to the ethics of the legal profession.
Issam Dahman
Managing Partner
Issam recently joined MAAF Legal as the Managing Partner. Previously held various executive roles as General Counsel, leading in house legal departments of key corporate and financial institutions. With twenty years of experience as corporate and banking legal counsel in the UAE, Issam is skilled with applying leadership capabilities, sound judgment, negotiation tools, drafting expertise and business insight to produce well-versed and seasonal bilingual legal counsel, reflecting an in-depth understanding of corporate objectives and clients’ needs.
Issam acted on major transactions, including key merger and acquisitions, project finance, corporate and debt restructuring, transfer of intellectual property and many other business and commercial deals. Issam is a licensed legal counsel, graduated from Beirut Arab University and holds an LLM in International Business Transactions from the Washington College of Law of the American University of Washington DC.
Firas Dabbagh
Legal Associate
Mr. Firas Dabbagh joined MAAF Legal in 2021, coming with a long experience in the legal field for more than 15 years. Firas is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Aleppo University (Syria) in 2006 and received training for two years, he established his own firm in 2008 and practiced law in criminal, civil, commercial, family and labor cases at all courts levels of first instance, appeal and cassation. He has a business administration Certificate in 2021 and held the position of director of legal affairs at / Sukuk Company as well as Saad Company, which helped him to be at a high level of competence and professionalism. He also received training and learned from long experience of his father Muhammad Argon Dabbagh, being a lawyer with more than thirty years of experience.
Ahmed Abdel Moneim Elkala
Legal Associate
Mr. Ahmed Elkala joined MAAF Legal withmore than 15 years of legal experience in the field of law and legal advice. He has attended to many international arbitration courses, specialized in drafting contracts and served as attorney for many corporate clients. Ahmed carried out multiple researches on constitutions and different laws. Ahmed graduated from the Faculty of Law of Tanta University of Egypt in 2007. His father was a lead senior lawyer in Egypt.
Ahmed was raised in his father’s firm, where he represented many individual and corporate clients until he joined MAAF Legal in 2021. Ahmed enjoys the art of management and proficiency in dealing with clients being raised in an administrative and legal house of inherited experience. Ahmed is specialized in the field of litigation and research in various laws, and known for making sound judgment in directing lawsuits, drafting petition, and the ability to manage negotiation, settlements as well as to represent clients before technical experts and in civil cases.
Ahmed Abdel Rahman Mustafa

Mr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman Mustafa joined MAAF Legal at the beginning of 2021, bringing with him more than five years of legal experience in the field of litigation, He joined Egypt Bar Association in 2015 and secured many degrees in the field of commercial and civil law, in addition to a specialized qualification in the field of corporate lawyers, with a grade of excellent. Ahmed is graduate of the Faculty of Law, Zigzag University in 2015, he joined the firm of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Karim Othman in Cairo after which he worked for the firm of Kholoud Saeed Advocates and Legal Consultants in Dubai 2018.
Ulan Azizbek Uulu
Legal Associate
Ulan holds a bachelor degree in law. He graduated from the Kyrgyz State Law Academy in Kyrgyzstan with a degree in International Law. While studying at the Academy, he was awarded the “AZAMAT” badge for active participation in providing assistance and improving the Academy.
He began his career as an advisor to the CEO of a large company in Bishkek “Sun and Co” LLC, which deals with such industries as: real estate, tourism, sports and entertainment business. He dealt with legal and business issues and was awarded the honorary diploma “Best Employee of the Company 2020”. Then he continued to work in state institutions of Kyrgyzstan, such as the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry, the State Committee for Ecology and Climate as a leading specialist in the department for legal issues Working for the benefit of the state, he developed and promoted draft resolutions, orders and mechanisms for improving the regulatory framework of state institutions, and also participated in courts protecting the interests of the state.
